ABOUT LYERLY NEUROSURGERY
Founded in 1934 by Dr. James G. Lyerly, Sr., one of 19 founding members of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and one of Florida’s first neurosurgeons, we are Florida’s first medical practice devoted to neurosurgery. Today we are proud to be the region’s premier neurosurgical practice, specializing in back pain relief, MIS and more conventional techniques.
Our individual physicians have received numerous awards and other recognition for their accomplishments including being named among “America’s Top Surgeons,” “Top Doctors in America,” and others. And because our practice is affiliated with Baptist Health, we have access to preferred hospitals, facilities, medical and support staff in the area.
