Barbara P. Hurlbert, CMPE
Barbara P. Hurlbert, CMPE, is Board Certified in Medical Practice Management through the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
In 2012 she will have 40 years experience in Healthcare management in Jacksonville and has been the Practice Administrator of Lyerly since 1996.
Mrs. Hurlbert has served as President (2006-2007) of the Neurosurgery Executives' Resource Value Education Society.
She was one of the founding Members of NERVES in 2002 and served on the Executive Board untill 2008. Mrs. Hurlbert was also one of the Founding Members of Northeast Florida Medical Group Management Association in 1997 and served as President in 1999 - 2000. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women
Mrs. Hurlbert has presented as faculty for the CSNS and AANS annual meetings and the initial AANS web cast practice management courses. She also has been a speaker for the annual conferences of NERVES, MGMA, and Northeast Florida MGMA.
